Authentication

No API key is required today. The API is open for integration and the app. When keys are introduced they will be sent as a header, or as a query parameter for browsers, which cannot set headers on a WebSocket:
A request with a bad key answers 401 {"error":"unauthorized"}.

Conventions

  • Field names are snake_case, except /v1/price, which follows the Jupiter price shape, and /v1/stream, which is camelCase.
  • Amounts are integers in base units. in_atoms, out_atoms and amount are raw token units, never decimals. Fields ending in _ui are decimal floats for display only.
  • Amounts are JSON numbers. A value above 2^53 loses precision in a double-based parser such as JSON.parse. Use a bigint-aware parser when amounts can be large.
  • Fees, slippage and price impact are basis points. 50 means 0.5%.
  • Symbols are accepted for common tokens anywhere a mint is taken, in any case: SOL, WSOL, USDC, USDT, JUP, BONK, JITOSOL, MSOL. The exceptions are the path mints of GET /v1/token/{mint} and GET /v1/pools/{mint}, which take base58 only.
  • Venue names in dex fields are display names such as Raydium AMM or Meteora DLMM. See Venues.
